We arrived in Guayaquil late in the evening on June 19th. After solving the seemingly inevitable luggage issues and getting a precious few hours of sleep, we quickly went to work. This year, we are setting up the mobile medical clinic in a school in the barrio Bastion Popular Block 10. There are hundreds of families in this densely crowded and impoverished neighborhood. The residents of Block 10 have no local medical care or medicines available, and we are privileged to be able to help.
The clinic will be active from Monday, June 23rd, through Friday, June 27th. We hope to be able to serve thousands of people during the week by by ministering to their health while sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
